SPOILER +ending explanation

ok so it ends v vaguely without an actual scene of him dying but more show shows his mental state

basically kwon went abroad and he wasn't rlly close with hansol anymore either so he was alone again. his dad also became more violent but he has nowhere to go because his mom doesnt want him
his grades keep falling and so does his mental health and his last line was "if everything is my fault, do you think i'd be able to live on?" basically he's saying everything is his fault and he cant live anymore which is why the conclusion is that he commits suicide

SIDE NOTE: i read the author's epilogue and they answered some questions and said that kim kwon is someone who is deprived of love and that to him, lee jaekyung is a friend that he wanted to hold on to because he would never meet a friend like him again

AGH I WANTED TO SEE THAT TOO
but unfortunately it just ends with the line i quoted on a pitch black screen
it also doesnt show him committing suicide, it just conveys his anguish

    Spoiler

I think Hansol wasn't really Hansol. The Hansol at the looked different kinda like a guy, maybe the Hansol we knew never existed and it was his childhood bully all along
