A web novel is like on the level of fanfic but a light novel actually goes through a publishing house and gets edited and sold in print as well.
So if there is a web novel then a light novel.
The light novel would be considered the better version.
The light novel has been proofread and the author has the chance to fix plot holes, or things that don’t make sense, or things people didn’t like.
