Yes but having that kind of background will not equal to people tolerating her behavior(The household scenario was pretty familiar for me)
Yeah I get why characters in the story don’t like like her, its the comments I’m talking about that are just hating on the character.
I’m kind of disappointed in how many people seem to not realise what a toxic and clearly abusive home can do to a person. She isn’t thinking of others and her actions seem horrible because she’s trying to save herself. It sounds selfish but to her that’s normal. I mean what normal family pushes everything onto a child to do and the way she flinched at blondes suggests she’s probably been hit before (likely from her brother). Can people cut her some slack, she’s just a kid with a fucked up family, making some bad decisions, which by the way she seems to actually regret!! (the phone call with auntie)
