i hv been feeling the same thing for these past few months, but i had to bottle it up bc other ppl cant stop saying that they want haise to be gone so that kaneki can come back. im glad that other readers are starting to realise that haise is an important character too. ofc i miss kaneki so much but just gah im bad at expressing stuffs. it just that kaneki and haise are equally important to me.
It's definitely true. HAISE is just like everything KANEKI dreaming to be. When Kaneki was look so lonely, Haise is the exact opposite of it.
I always remember that KANEKI only has the people of Anteiku and Hide. while HAISE has the entire CCG, well, almost, I mean, more people to support him. Even Arima and Akira.
So, I think it's best to let HAISE stay longer I think. Sorry, my autocorrect makes the name KANEKI and HAISE typed with uppercases.
Yeah I can understand that also, but the main problem that should be fixed is the hateful relationship between the ghouls and humans. When Kaneki (haise) was a ghoul, there were a lot of good ghouls and it's the same for the ccg. Both sides have lost a lot of people important to them and kaneki (haise) is the only one who understands that, he is the only one in the middle (who isn't as crazy as takizawa). If he stays Haise, and doesn't remember then the good people who are ghouls won't be seen as good but as human eating monsters. They should just get along and figure out a solution to this problem.

I think Haise is a lonely person as well. We can't deny his heart and mind are in a big turmoil because of his lost memory and the pieces he has been gathering (ghouls who care about him).
He's not expressing his wish to protect the ones he loves as Kaneki did, but it's also there, the personality described by Arima when talking with Akira is the same as Kaneki, so they tried to fill the most troublesome points with a mother figure (Akira), a mentor (Arima, maybe) and people who he should protect (Q Squad).
Sorry if I'm not clear about his loneliness...
Also, when I see his role and position at CCG, I get really anxious, because mostly of them see/use him as a tool. Some consider him a ghoul who was a human and not a half-ghoul, a human who can fight as a ghoul or a person. A lot of people doubts about his humanity and won't doubt to kill him when he becomes dangerous, this is also due to their thinking and understanding of ghouls: monsters who eat humans, which don't have feelings and should be exterminated.
I still have my doubts around Arima and Akira, I can see how they care about Haise, their care seems to be truthful, but they have been using hurtful methods on Haise, they've been manipulating him so much he's going to break again. It's not healthy.
My thoughts about them are not clear, I don't know their real intentions, they have many secrets, but I think Akira's thinking has changed thanks to Haise, she can care about him even if he's a rampant ghoul.
I know I'm being wishful and fantasizing too much about Haise and Kaneki, but I hope there will be a way for him to keep being them: Kaneki and Haise (how does split personalities work?!).
I'm not sure Kaneki's dream would be accomplished (being like Haise?) if the people he cares gets exterminated because they're born as ghouls: Hinami, Shuu(?), former Anteiku, etc. CCG has shown no mercy for ghouls, they don't mind if they are children, mothers, fathers, exemplar citizens, big and succesful businessmen, they will exterminate them.
The control over Haise's mind and actions done by CCG has made him impotent about his [previous] beliefs, he can't not kill a ghoul, even if he thinks it is wrong.
I think you're right. Kaneki is needed.
On the other hand, I hope he can be both in one. That he doesn't lose any part of him. That nobody deny himself as Kaneki or as Haise.
Yeah..., I think that's the best thing to happen. Because, when you see it again, the two of them is filling each other's hope. Well, just saying, both of them really completing each other.
People are saying they want Kaneki back. Well.....I actually come to like Haise. He's more like a 'Normal' part of Kaneki Ken. Let's admit this, Kaneki has gone mad at the end of the first series. He need more normal personality to maintain the balance between Ghoul'Human sides of himself. Haise is the result from him gone mad and split personality occur.
I didn't say I don't want Kaneki back, I do truly love Kaneki Ken. I just hope that if someday Kaneki Ken memories are all back....this 'Haise' will not dissappear. I love to see Haise/Kaneki whoever they are because in the end both of them are "The same person"
Haise is like Kaneki when he still Human at the start of the series. He remind me of how kind Kanekikun is at the start. How funny he can be. The Badass Kaneki is the result from Ghoul life invading his private life, which bring dramas and sadness....
So when I saw people comment that they want Haise gone and Kaneki back Im a little bit sad. Since Haise bring happiness to his life once more....and little by little , trying to come to terms with Human and Ghoul with a normal mind. Befcause when 'Kaneki' memories come back, there will be a lot of pain and anst in his life again...So we should thank for Haise to bring some happiness into his life before everyting gone wrong again...
