He tried more than her. All of Vicente's training, education, health etc has been handled by Harsen. What has she done??? Nothing. that's why she knows nothing about him.

I was talking emotionally. Any parent can handle that but he was also never there emotionally for him like she was either. Both of them are kinda at fault for that but yeah he definitely raised him over the practical aspect
"handled by Harsen" lol you mean by the maids and tutors? Tbh, it was common for nobles not to raise their children. Heck, they even had nursemaids breastfeed the kids back then. And while she hasn't been a good mother, I do think it's unfair of you to give Harsen more slack. He's not exactly father of the year either. They're both at fault for not raising the kid with any affection.

That's a good point as well! He thinks that she was a bad mother for neglecting him as a kid and going off to socialize when he was also overworking him and probably didn't care about anything else except for his performance and reputation as an heir to the family. Newsflash buddy, just because you gave him an education and training doesn't make you better than your wife. It might give you 0.002% better than her but both of y'all are shits at parenting.
