Okay so the guy clearly explained that he can do the spell to turn back time with another person but that person can either choose to return his memories or give them to someone els so yes her father was the second person but because he chose to give her the past memories he can't remember shit.
When turning back time, only one person can keep their memory. In order to turn back time you need 2 people:
1- the magician who cast the spell,
2- a 2nd person who decide who will keep their memory when they will turn back in time.
Usually the 2nd person choose themself to remember the past and once time is rewinded, they go to the magician to tell them about it since the magician can sense that their used the magic even though they don't remember what happened.
In this case, Arez (blond guy) was the magician who cast the spell and he though that Keira (MC) was the 2nd person. Turns out she was not and the 2nd person choose her without her knowing.
So the 2nd person can still be her dad I suppose??
As for Cosette, story hasn't revealed anything yet, except that she was a fake daughter.

No it’s not her dad that turned back the time. I think its her brother or someone like sir joseph who also beg her father and believed that lady keira was his real daughter. If its her brother i think that before she was sentenced to death, her brother was the one who was trying to convince her to run away and forget about what was happening(??) but she’s blind with how she loves her father and i guess she also lose hope and decided to be face her death. I don’t remember exactly what happened but thanks to whoever saved keira she was available to experience things she didn’t in the past because she was busy pleasing her dad. Idk someone correct me if in wrong dhdhjsjs(￣∇￣")
Why do you think it's the brother though? For me, it makes more sense for the father to have been the second person since he also seems to be having reoccurring dreams of his previous life where Keira died. He doesn't know it was real, but he has them all the same. He's almost like the magician (Area) in that regard.
The only thing I can think of to explain the father, if he's *not* the second person, is that he's some strange exception to the given rules for some reason.
