So I know that the monocle guy is the FL's father, and MeiMei (the courtesan) is in love with the father.
But is the lady in the shed is the FL's mother? And if she is did the FL know she was there, or did they granny keep it a secret?

On the last chapter Mei Mei said she "wished this was resolved, before [she] started to have hope"
Implying that she wished the dad already moved on from Mao2's mom and choose her, but at the same time she also wished the dad & mom to be happy (that's why she opened the window I thinkk)
