If you where abandoned by your father, abused everyday by your mother and staff members would you trust anybody?? because if you did I personally would think you where an idiot (no offence to anyone). Being in the situation yourself is always different to seeing it from the outside.

Agreeeeeee. It in our human nature and they are of course from a different world and reincarnated to another world amd experience harsh and cruel treatments, thus, it is the most plausible outcome when they experience bad things and forsake, the emperor should say something too
