The prince is always jealous of her. The king would always compare the prince to aristia. He misunderstood the kings action because he didnt received any love when he was younger because he is the sole heir and should not be emotionally weak.. The king always love the prince but he just cant express it for he is the crown prince. He hated aristia more when aristia acted indifferent towards him. The prince would always hurt aristia because he wants to see the (broken,imperfect,the expression in her eye) but the prince failed because aristia would always tolerate it and doesnt show any emotion.
