Y'all...I don't wanna be that person...but I can't be the only one that feels as if the story is just being dragged. Someone mentioned the repetetive nature of the story structure and I wholeheartedly agree. The original story was full of life and colour, but the couples that follow all feel like a hollow reflection of the couple prior to them. The conflict within each story may appear to be different, but under the facade, it's actually quite the same. I would have liked to see how the death of such a beloved person would affect people in other ways. Instead of bringing people together, why don't we see how it could potentially tear a pre-existing relationship apart? It's just an example but shows there were indeed a multitude of different ways the author could have chosen to go. It's just an opinion though. Yours may be that the repetetiveness may actually add another layer to the story. If you are of that opinion, I respect it.
Someone just commented on a response I made ages ago. But it’s brought be back to the comment section and I’m surprised to even see this post as this plot has been hyped and overrated for sometime. I actually dropped the manga for the very reason you’re stating.
