Fujoshi is just basically a girl who likes yaoi but the actually meaning is "rotten girl". It's the same with fudanshi, but it's 'rotten boy".

Yeah, I also have ever heard that and also the warning about "Don't call yourself as 'Fujoshi / Fudanshi' in Japan."
I never use anyway as I'm afraid I may confuse it with "Fundoshi" (￣∇￣")

Bad & Narrow-minded People look down & call us as "Rotten gal/guy". Why do we have look down ourselves like that?
I prefer to call myself and all of us as "YAOI LOVER". Although, I don't mind anyone using it but I think we should know the real meaning and how those words come from..

i also prefer calling myself yaoi lover rather than a fujoshi also i don't call myself otaku since lots of people also looked down or disgusted with the otakus so i call myself and my friends anime/manga lovers/addicts XDD

they don't know the happiness yaoi gives me TT^TT soooo what i do is i had my guy friends read shounen ai then yaoi kekekeke now everytime they watch anime they can see the yaoi shipping and fan services bwahahaha well they are ope minded but they don't like yaoi saying yuri is better -_- only the genders are different ughh
