ok brats stop napping here 'rape' 'rape' like broken cd. T_T you're so annoying. do you know at all what 'rape' means? gosh nowdays kids just say this word whatever they see that they don't understand nor like in intercourse and especially in yaoi. T_T those aren't girls , for the sake of and you aren't knights to protect 'holy place' of potential uke. T_T I am so annoyed of nowdays readers of yaoi it's like this genre became lost case.

First in 2nd story was so much more passion, love, emotions, sorrow, hope, faith, sadness and sensual way of expressing between them than in any other story here. It was strong and at one point sick when seme couldn't stop his despair separating it from driven mind to corner of sanity and reality, and just made love to the boy who got mixed his feelings so much his memories and scar that he tried to mask all this time by his cold hardboiled cool image. and boy also understood his pan and just accepted him he didn't rant so it can't be considered rape. rape is when one onesidely and selfpleasurely against other partner's utmost will, go into sex just to satify carnal desires.
this was speaking between two men. it wasn't rape in that context. it wasn't out of free will ofcourse but it was consensual because seme and uke felt each other and drowned their pain and emotions into healing both of them.

such yaoi as this story isn't for brats who can';t understand complex feelings of adults and dramatic love and yaoi story at all. this is fictional made with strong feelings and deep heartfull emotions from both parties which can't be expressed with words but just through body contact and then through actions. it's like chef-d'oeuvre. good dramatic romance clishe yaoi of old times - it can be called.
if you want something just seet and not that real to to yaoi go read shounen ai.
.
btw where is 4th chapter? o.o

I agree with how much of a big deal they make against rape.(▰˘◡˘▰)

I saw a rape scene and I must say I'm not a brat.
Does it bother me? Not as much as I would like to, but I'm now accustomed to that trope.

Why is it rape? Although you made a deep and interesting interpretation of the story, there were actions that showed us it wasn't consensual:
-Use of force: adult hitting the boy
    http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hisuiiro_no_kaze/mrs/manga/hisuiiro-no-kaze/v-1/2/38/
    -Use of sleeping pills (drugs!).
    http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hisuiiro_no_kaze/mrs/manga/hisuiiro-no-kaze/v-1/2/39/
    -Victim telling him to stop.
    http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hisuiiro_no_kaze/mrs/manga/hisuiiro-no-kaze/v-1/2/40/
As it is a trope, it doesn't matter at the end of the sexual intercourse if it was or wasn't rape, the boy was more worried about the rapist than about himself and used a common statement in yaoi manga's rape:
"You seem to be in more pain that I am...".
And there you go, the pain both felt "justified" his actions and the other scenes banished with the romantic feelings that would come in the next pages.

I don't like to rant about that trope (and I think I've never done it), because I might sound like an hypocrite because I've enjoyed countless manga with it (and felt disgusted at other more. However, I'm still waiting for well portraited rape scenes and victims with traumas and so... O.O).
But I don't mind if others do so, because it shows that people are troubled by it as it should be in real life.
What I mind is when people treat it so lightly and it's not clear if they are mature enough to understand the fictional Vs reality situation (I'm saying this because that's what worries me, but not because I think you are like that, so please don't think this last words were directed to you).

At the end I saw rape.
I think you are trying to comprehend the story from the story itself and that's why you got to the conclusion that it wasn't, but thinking it from a normal and real context, I wouldn't doubt to call it rape.
It also makes me think about how in real life rape's thought of, a lot of times victims are the ones called at fault, "the rapist wasn't doing anything wrong" or "the victim is overreacting". Those misunderstandings are awful because it determines if a criminal is punished or not... And even if victims are aware of it or not.

I understand your point of view but in this case you're wrong.
firstly about those scenes in manga you presented and clarified as presentation of rape.. Sorry but the BOY has brought it up himself. he WAS aware of seme being unstable after that thing on the beach when he lost bracellet yet he acted like nothing happened. that ofcourse pissed already mindconfused seme which wounds of past activated.
2nd he just could went of his room and not come there.
I think people are too protecetive of those they called 'being raped' when they acctually initially didn't want to prevent it. I mean it in yaoi. we are tallking about guys. guys esspecially straight ones won't admit their love or attraction to someone from the same sex sweetly and peacefully in most cases especially adult ones.
you need to separate girls from boys.
and what sleeping pills.. o.o I don't find anything wrong with that it's not a drug or afrodisiac or opium. seme didn't want him to hurt. and gosh those are boys it's nothing to be overreacting about..
this wasn;t rape since rape as I mentioned is onesidely and angsty or abusive or forceful way of pleasuring itself uing other party without caring about. uke could prevent this if he wanted and we can CLEARLY see that uke liked from the start seme (when he found out about him being novelist and taking time later on with him etc..).

also yaoi manga and reality is different as you say also. making a fuss over it is weird and what you said that it can be interpreted wrong way in reallity that's why I said IT ISN'T FOR BRATS or those who don't understand commonity of proper life.
those who read yaoi at least it was before, were 'adults' not by age but also by understanding so there wasn't need to explain such simple obvious things. yaoi and fujoshi culture is different.
also like rape in yaoi and real life and in hetero relationships.

you need to learn that reading yaoi and mixing real life with it is totally uncalled for thing, which only brats who didn't get proper clue of this genre get in.
I am not reffereing to you but to 'you' in all for everyone.

also when I read manga I read manga, yeah it has refference in real life and on characters with actions and personalities reffering to real life persons and we can learn much from it but I differate reality when it comes to this - story to be more passionate and deep and making it like that on base of various hmm 'brutal'? things.. especially romantic yaoi like this need such twisted things for story. not to justify something or not, but to bring characters and their stories to readers. this is OLD YAOI shedevre. it always showed no borders in passionate and complicated realtionship between men. those who fail to understand and enjoy it just don't have right to read this and annoy other readers with pointless comments about nothing. *o*

btw sorry for mistakes if I made english isn't my native ><

the definition of rape is to have sexual intercourse without the consent of the other party. that means if you drug some one and then sleep with them that is rape i do agree that the word rape is thrown around too much but after reading your comment it makes me wonder if you know what rape is also men can be raped by other men and by women

What? I am a full on adult and that was a rape scene, even kind of sick by manga romance standards. A punch and drugging.. ick .. too bad, because I liked everything else about that story, but I agree, wtf!?

this is old but I need to comment. I'm 38 years old and that was a rape scene plan and simple. men do get raped too ok. and not only by men but by women too. rape is not a yaoi thing. rape is common in all mangas/animes genres. and also games, for consoles, pcs, etc, etc. Japan has the highest rape culture worldwide. japanese society learned that rape was a hideous crime less than 170 years ago, after the meiji restoration. and to this day many japanese men still have the archaic beliefs and see rape like nothing bad at all, oh yes before the meiji restoration rape and other sexual crimes was accepted. in japan anything that makes a dick raise up and milk it,
is accepted without a care about the well being of women and men. this is sad true of japan, and they do everything to keep it under the rug. most manga/animes fans doesn't know at all Japan's history and its dark side.

it seems that the brat here it is you. you simply made a whole bullshit excuse of your own fucked up point of view to defend a classic rape scene. you call brats those who pointed out the lame rape. when the real brat is you and the one who doesn't see the real problem behind it is you. kid grow up because mentally you still have a teen mind and a veeery fucked up view.
