Well the meditation they giving to her is to stop her power and fom killing her son because of the god curse

I'm 100% sure that the medications she take is poison, and it is the reason of why she can't hide her gem & of why she died..
I believe in the theories that the temple, to keep their powers, poison her and make her think that if she don't take them she die, and the reason of why she feel suffocated when she didn't take them anymore was because of the sudden surge of her powers.
But with this new chapter I wonder if the father know something..
