ikr i felt the same like i really didn't know why so many ppl were blaming suho like it as his fault but doyoon didn't even have some sense of worry other than just talking about his achievements in his face, its pretty rude considering the fact that suho couldn't even achieve his dream
Its not Dooyoon's fault that Suho couldn't achieve his dream though. Besides, aren't friends supposed to be happy for each other when something good happens to them? Besides, they already talked. Suho already gave a go signal. Besides, Dooyoon didn't know Suho's circumstances. Considering how outgoing Suho was, maybe Dooyoon thought there was nothing wrong. As for the matter of Dooyoon not giving a fuck after seeing Suho that day at school, I should point out that this is a Shounen manhua. School life and friendship is just an underlying theme. It isn't the highlight of the story. However, if you want to see the mc wallow in sadness, then I guess you're reading the wrong material. If we think about it though, I'm sure it has crossed Dooyoon's mind many times considering his personality. It just wasn't showcased. Let us not read too much into it or there will be chaos everywhere. Let's just take everything at face value, please.
I mean talking about it is fine but not before he even knows why Suho gave up that dream :/ Like, he knew how important that was to him. He saw how Suho looked. And yet, he didn't try to dig deeper and find out what happened, he gave up the second Suho ignored him. That's some friendship they have...
I can't imagine myself doing that if that friend means anything to me. Shouldn't you at least try a bit more? Be a bit more concerned? Right now we had one situation where Suho ignores him and the story continues like normal with Doyoon not even bothered lol
I'm still bothered by my friend who ghosted me over 8 years ago so... couldn't be me. Good for Doyoon :')
I feel really bad for Suho, seriously... You make a friend, get him to be passionate like you are, helping him to open up, being there for him, and the second you have family problems and decide to leave, he doesn't seem to care about that enough to not give up and try to find out why something unbelievable happened. And it takes one time ignoring him for him to just stop being bothered at all
Idk if I'm the only one but Doyoon pissed me off a bit. Like, he didn't even care why Suho decided to leave the team. As soon as he got the info Suho is leaving he was like "oh great I'm going to join a professional team". He should know how much Suho wanted to become a pro player and yet he didn't even try to reach out. He even didn't come to school for a week! And didn't contact anyone. Like, he didn't think about his supposed friend at all and then he decides to drop out when without school he's probably gonna ignore his friends even more. As a friend, his behavior was super shitty. And then he just goes and sees how Suho looks and is like "are you ok? Oh btw i joined a pro team :)" THE AUDACITY
Even if he doesn't know what Suho went through he should prioritize finding out what's wrong with his (best????) friend... And after Suho ignored him he was just like "wtf" for a second and then doesn't give a shit about it the next day and talks about steaming and stuff. He seems to have completely forgotten about his friends... I'm so disappointed... And i feel sorry for Suho, he tried so hard and his friend didn't even care enough to know why the person who got him into gaming professionally left the team suddenly.
I feel like it's Doyoon who didn't keep the promise about still being friends, not Suho. Because what Doyoons been doing isn't what a friend would do.
