Why? Lemme start from the beginning.
There are many reasons why Joowon has more people standing up for him and why taku is getting hate now.
If we read the manhwa carefully we will come to realize that in the beginning everyone was filled with flaws as well as arrogance.
Joowon was being an asshole too no denying but even from the very beginning Joowon loved Haesoo and Haesoo loved Joowon. They were just in denial especially Joowon.
The phase 'don't fall in love with me because I won't' was said by Joowon because they were step brothers that time but Haesoo took it as a challenge and kept doing things that would make Joowon jealous/annoyed, Joowon soon became arrogant about it and he thought Haesoo would never leave him that's why they don't need to name their relationship. Haesoo was also too blinded by it that he forgot how to actually love someone else and himself.
When those things were going on, Haesoo met taku and they seem to be getting along quite well and good. We are being too ignorant about taku's character, he has always been a shady character, he used his sex tape to actually get Haesoo to have pity on him as a sign of manipulation, not only that, he forced Haesoo into a relationship when he knew that Haesoo still loved Joowon and needed time to himself, but instead taku with his selfish desires (he admitted it himself) that he was curious and was also being petty.
I don't even blame people for ignoring his shadyness because the author put him in a position when everyone was hating on Joowon for being toxic when taku was also as toxic as Joowon.
I don't even know why people are blaming Haesoo when he has no fault in what taku is going through rn, Haesoo tried his best to forget about joowon, tried his best to move on but he couldn't, what's his fault there? Haesoo liked taku but loved Joowon.
If Taku had also changed. I would have never wrote this long ass shit but he never changed.
Secondly, Taku was being materialistic and obsessed not in love, how? As you could see, he compares Haesoo to the bowl of candies he once wanted as a child, he compares the feelings he has now to the time he broke the jar and lost the candies, it's literally a sign of obsession not love.
Third, he was being selfish, he literally knew that Joowon had an accident, he knew that Haesoo needed Joowon in his life but he actually shouted at his friends on why they told Haesoo about Joowon's account, like dafuck?
And when Haesoo returned to him to 'talk' (which some people are saying that Joowon accident had actually brought JooHae together which is wrong because even before the accident happened Haesoo decided to end things with taku.) Taku decided to guilt trip Haesoo. Haesoo begged his forgiveness for God knows what reason and hence left Haesoo hanging with shame and patheticness.
He could not even wish Haesoo happiness even after knowing that even if Haesoo even if Haesoo chooses him, he and Haesoo would never have been happy because Haesoo would always have a spot for Joowon.
C'mon look at joowon now, he chose to sacrifice the career he loved so much just because he didn't want Haesoo to get involved in the scandal , he called Haesoo his 'dream', he bashed up the guy that hurt Haesoo, he confronted his father the truth, he was even ready to let Haesoo go and find his own happiness, he was even ready to go to Taku's exhibition to congratulate him and he got into an accident, rather than being grateful, taku got mad lol. Some taku Stan's exaggerate by saying that if anyone was inplace of taku they would have shouted like that too lmao, meh if it was true love taku would have accepted it and rather try to be happy for Haesoo for choosing his own happiness. Some people can't even differentiate between obsession and love and keep on blabbering about why taku and Haesoo weren't the endgame.
When Haesoo came to the hospital, the first thing joowon asked was why he was crying and what happened to Taku's exhibition as a sign of worry.
He pretended to be alright and strong just for Haesoo to stop crying.
Just look at joowon being a Haesoo simp till the very end.
Joowon has always got hate only from the beginning, I don't think he deserves it now.
He didn't even get to have more screen time being one of the lead.

I do like Taku's face alot but in the end character matters most.
