I mean the rape isn't that messed up since this is the yakuza world we're talking abt but I understand your feelings. At least this didn't romanticise rape? Unless I'm wrong then IDK

That doesn't make it less messed up, it just means it's realistic cause of the yakuza setting.

when i was reading i thought tetsu was faking his emotions at first and i got sick to my stomach thinking he was going to make nozomi go through what he already went through again. so i definitely get what you mean about needing a better build up in his feelings.
and same with the rape, it’s mentioned/showed constantly throughout the whole story and it’s really hard to just let it go as the characters did
I desperately want to like this story bc I appreciate how Tatsuyuki tries to help Nozomi deal w the abuse he went through but just the amount of unnecessary rape is so off-putting. And it's so messy I would have preferred a better build-up of tatsu's feelings for nozomi bc I felt that it was super rushed.
Like a 7/10 art style is so nice and there are some nice parts in here but just overall feels a little but unplanned / rushed. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
