Completely agree and can relate! Straight stories are majority of the times cliche and pretty boring imp and i can't relate to any of the mcs. However as a queer person its easy to relate and understand the characters and struggles better.

omg yass! I don't feel anything anymore when reading and watching at straight couples anymore because they're so cliché and so basic.
