Exactly! I've seen people comment things like "That's what she gets!" Or something similar along the lines but they're not looking at the big picture. She was 22 when she gave birth, that's a young age to do that, not to mention that she also got married at a young age because of political/family reasons. When she wanted to relax, she was being told constantly that she need to stay home and be a mother/wife. That could lead to postpartum depression that lead to get constantly distancing herself.
Your so right! Postpartum depression must have been there before she even got shunned for going back to partying. I mean if you think about it properly she only knew about socializing and was still young so she hadn’t matured correctly. Then when she had him all she could think about was when she always had fun and you can’t pretend like motherhood is just warm and loving. Motherhood is an exhausting state where you can’t put yourself first anymore and for someone who knew nothing but putting herself first she probably couldn’t handle it.
Yes! Everyone is acting like once she gave birth, she should have automatically switched to a caring, mature mode when in reality, she was raised, in almost her entire life, to be socializing at parties and hanging out with friends. Giving birth and getting married doesn't automatically make a person mature, it just means that they have to think about another person and more responsibility, which as you said, she wasn't prepared for as she was surrounded by maids and her own husband was not always home due to work.
I saw a chapter of the webtoon in korean that showed some of her past. I only saw the drawings, and she did looked like depressed in it. Buuuut I don't understand korean and I didn't tried translating it either so I can't say if she was depressed for being pregnant or if it was some other thing that may have happened.... （￣へ￣）

I saw another person comment that she had postpartum depression and it makes so much sense! When you have that you really do end up hating your child and since they most likely didn’t think that was a real medical condition she most likely never got treated which lead her to continue to distance herself.
