I agree with you when you say that joowon had the most character development. and I think I used the w wrong word when I said manipulative.
joowon did in many ways hurt haesoo, you'll have to agree with me on that right?
and of course haesoo who never stopped loving him did develop a relationship with taku. now taku did push haesoo into this relationship. throughout the story taku did find himself falling in love with haesoo. and because of that he wanted to keep haesoo by his and tried his very best to change his mind. I'm not defending his methods, I'm just saying that taku found himself from being fascinated of haesoo to falling in love with him.
and I belive that taku knew that there was a slim chance that he would end up with haesoo but still tried to somehow hold onto a relationship.
I said it doesnt make sense fighting over who is the best character because each one of them including haesoo has their faults.
haesoo ends with joowon at the end of the series because they confirm their feelings with each other and end up being honest.
I'm not hating on haesooxjoowon because throughout the series I was more interested in taku rather than haesooxjoowon. I cried when taku was hurt and my sole focus was taku.
once again I'm not condemning or hating on joowon, I belive that he is an amazing and well written character but so is taku and so is haesoo, and whatever happened happened.
i mean... ofc i dont want ppl to brainlessly fight. but rather, have discussions about the characters~ I agree that all of them are well written and I agree with most of what you said about taku. i understand his character motives and thought progression as the story progresses. But if someone really wants to claim that haesoo should be with taku and not joowon because taku was the "better choice"...idk it makes me want to speak. like we can nicely discuss that you get my drift? taku was honestly selfish till the end, and did not seem to care much about how haesoo felt more than how he felt himself (this is considering the raws as well, so idk if you've seen the fan translations for those). the number of times he's said he liked haesoo being sad/hurt throughout the story too lol. meanwhile, i know that joowon had honest/good intentions from the start, and actually corrected his mistakes throughout the story. that's all really ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
hmmm, i dont want to write an essay on why joowon and haesoo's relationship was complicated, but could very perfectly work if they can sort through the external pressures on their r/s: regarding their family, taboo, society, work. I mean they have loved each other for over 10 years despite everything... so i'll just leave my own past comment here and let it do the talking: http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/9496997/
I glanced over it and I agree with what your saying! I just think Haesoo needs to learn to be by himself so that him and Joowon can start a healthy happy relationship.
Spoilers:
This does happen so I’m glad! Someone told me what happens in the raws . I’m just glad Haesoo takes a break for himself cause he needed some character development too.
taku my poor baby, I love you so much and I wish for your happiness. both taku and joowon was so very toxic and manipulative so it doesnt make any sense fighting over who was the better character.
I just want taku to be happy.
