The execution is a mess. The gap between Koun kidnapping Sunao and Sunao realizing who Koun was is a ridiculous rollercoaster of unnecessary chaos. I know it's meant to be comedy but this one added some sort of drama which didn't blend well with the ridiculous plot bombs.
First of all, Sunao's brother just accepts the fact that Sunao is being taken by the student council president (coz they are in the same school except Sunao). And I suppose this is the comedic part.
Second, Sunao just lets it be and lived in this pseudo domestic life with Koun who was some sort of devoted wife. (Another comedic surrender.)
Third, we are told of how ridiculous Koun's family is to just abandon Koun because they planned to suicide together because of their overwhelming debt but Koun hated that and told them to die elsewhere. (the drama)
At the same time, Sunao and his brother just lost their parents and when they saw Koun, Sunao just promised that in the future he'd marry Koun and be a family with him. And without explanation, they just never met again and Sunao forgot all about it. Seriously, how the hell did these abandoned pups just get on their lives? (another drama)
But then, surprise surprise, when Koun was seven, he found petrol and become some motherfucking rich boy ON HIS OWN. (I just sighed and accepted this ridiculous "plot twist" in Koun's life) — the comedic swerve
Fifth, when Sunao remembered that he promised Koun about it again. But Koun suddenly went off for business and viola, a year passed and the delinquent Sunao topped the third year academic ranks to be Koun's wife. Then Koun pops out of nowhere, explaining that he went back to his family, tie some loose ends I suppose. Then the two just became some lovey-dovey couple. (the drama)
P.s: the bunos story is just ridiculous and plotless. It's just some quick paced celebrity x salaryman jealousy plot where the celebrity doesn't make sure that he doesn't make his scandals worse and the salary man swallows his jealousy but sulks and ends up being the one to bridge the gap between them. (I dont even know at this point)
