i mean technically youre right, but that's not the point really. everything is weird when it features a young child and an age gap romance, but think abt it in the present part of the story.
we never really get an age on either of them i think, so i guessed there was a 10 yr age difference at least. but thinking abt that between a 30 yr old and a 40 yr old, there's nothing so bad abt that, but between a 10 yr old and a 20 yr old it just seems wrong(which i guessed was the situation here). He also didn't really explicitly mention feelings for him until he was of age, nor did he act on it.
really this was unnecessarily long, but the point i guess i'm trying to make is to not get so weirded out by it? i understand that he was a kid, but the only reason it's so weird is because of the age gap, but age gaps are also weird. with different context, like how old they are, they welcomed or frowned upon.
(please don't take offense, i did a really bad job at explaining my thoughts)
Yaaa I mean 10 years age gap between them doesn't really bother me if the uke felt that he fell in love when we saw the adult seme. But he fell in love with the kid version of the seme too right??? That part got me like, errrrr wth am I reading. Soo yeah I'm not against large age gap or anything but it's just eww when it's with a kid
and it wasnt like he was sexually attracted to the child- im still on the first chapter for now but all i see is him falling in love because he was brought comfort and company in a time when he wasnt in the best place in his life- platonic love is also a very real thing. and as said- dont read things like this if you feel disturbed by such a small part of the story:)
Why isn't everyone getting weird out by this? He fell in love with a kid??!???
