I know what you mean, buy when you end up guessing a character's next exact line and saying it outloud along with him/her, you know then the story's really gone down the drain...
Well Idk how often it happens to you but this happens to me with yaoi about.... 95% of the time hahah. It's just that sometimes you really want to see it happen and sometimes you just go "meh" and stay for the heck of it. The times you roll your eyes are the ones you should stop reading lol. Maybe this type of story just isn't your thing idfk ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
I think all plots can be predicted in a way because a HUMAN being makes them and I will assume that everyone who is reading it is human, too :D , so you can see from the creator's perspective and where he wants to go with it pretty easily if you have ever tried out the position yourself. Idfk maybe it's just crazy ol me....
I don't get why people don't like this and act like it's predictable.
ALL romances and basically all plots are predictable in a way, that's why we have websites like tvtropes, people.
Usually they play out this trope with the seme being perfect and following around the uke and the uke although they are good at something the seme is always better at it and then they wonder why they are with them and get jealous and then the big revelation comes and the seme was always crushing on them and just did the same thing they did to be with them all the time and imitated them to adore them. It's also easily combined with the wanko nyanko type couple.
And FINALLY, someone comes and draws this from the other perspective and gives the characters a bit more depth and makes them human and not a 100% likable and nice and perfect and everyone hates the characters. Wth.
Well I don't care if I'm alone in this but I LOVE the way this is going and I find it really good that the mangaka is giving them ugly emotions and makes them struggle like this in a not overly dramatic but sensitive and clean cut way. This is great. WOOHOO SENSEI YOU ARE THE BEST!
