the harsh truth is, the whole manhwa is red flag. yes, it is toxic.
there are two sides of the fandom of this manhwa. one side is, acknowledging that the main couple is toxic, however really love the second couple. another side is, literally romanticising the whole manhwa, and sees nothing is wrong with it, even though there was rape. but we all can agree everyone likes byul, the second couple, and staying for the wholesome moments
somehow this manhwa becomes the holy grail of yaoi mangas even though there are so many red flags in it. and people choose to not acknowledge the red flags and think everything in this manhwa is romantic. so.... people are gonna be so mad at you but yes, what you said is right, it is toxic

Honestly i agree with the rape but if youve been reading yaoi for a while you learn to just skip or look past it (yes unfortunately) its hard to find them without rape and there are a lot that dont have it but the majority of them do. am i the only one that finds this story incredibly toxic? hyesung was basically in a condition where he could not give consent and got pregnant. when hyesung wants to leave, dojin doesn’t care and forces him to stay, basically raping him after. when hyesung wants to give up baby, dojin doesn’t allow him to do that even though he got him pregnant during sex that was not technically consensual. and then the only way they were able to end up together was because they would die if they were apart. it doesn’t sound like hyesung is choosing to love dojin, sounds more like he has no choice but to accept dojin as his partner... （￣へ￣）
