I can see why the manga had to end... the idea for the plot was good but the execution was horrible. The pacing was all off & the protagonist isn’t very aware of his predicament especially when he knows that he has to find his brother. How is he 17 but he doesn’t know how to use the internet or understand internet slang? It’s weird. Plus the plot was sidetracked on focusing on the side characters which isn’t a bad thing but when you have a main character who isn’t able to adapt to his environment, it can kind of hurt their growth when it comes to “survival/kill or be killed” themes. Overall, I think the mangaka should’ve gotten some help on how to execute psychological/mystery genres like this to help keep the reader engaged or else you’re just stuck with useless characters who can’t serve the plot in any way.
