Actually a lot of people thinks like this. Me too and probably the majority (whole ?) Bl/Gl commu. Many reasons are possible and I think they differe between one pers and another.
Mine (main one) would be either bad written females caracters or just not likeables one (both're not rare at all)
-To be more precise I assume women in general do not find those kind of caracters likeable bcs we're women (at least I am) so we see it when all those authors just put a empty fem cara to be given to the badass ML to be but just one "trophy" (& Men (majority) like it when ML have Harem...like it's mean ML fuck :))
Also author's like "I should give them a persona...wait...I don't know how to write woman and they're useless in the plot why should I work on them? so lets just make her annoying to fake a persona etc..." This is also why the women in love with MC (sometimes even when they're not) are always the same annoying stereotype
This is why women do not like fem cara. (And even without reading the full story we subconsciously do not wish to see but another useless fem cara.) who finish side by side with oh god the "deep" written or badass ML/MC (:Kappa:) of this said story (who has sometimes the minima of a persona but it's enough when said cara is surrounded by stupid cara).
This is also why Gay romance or no romance at all >>
They are a lot of other reasons (like just PERSONAL tast) but ZzzzZZzz

As for me, I don't really mind romance for ml but if the fl is annoying stupid bitch like the one in this story I'd surely be pissed.
Soooo yeah, I'm pissed right now. That annoying stupid bitch is so clingy and demanding.
Maybe we should do some petitions to the author to make it a bl(≧∀≦)
Honestly idk why, but I always hope/ pray that all those badass strong ml never get into romantic interaction. (At least not with a femal character, cause for some reason they annoy the heck outta me)
I know I'm weird and it sounds mean cause I'm literally saying that they shouldn't experience having a family live but I can't help it. I don't even understand myself for feeling this way. Can somebody help ┗( T﹏T )┛
