It just sounds pretty weird to me bc they’re both men and identify as such(in the ones ive read) but maybe they’re called mommy because they take the roll of the mother/birth giver, not necessarily taking the role of the woman in the relationship (though a lot of BL stories do actually do that but a lot dont) yk? Well thats just how i see it, at the end of the day I don’t know the authors so they might very well be doing that whole “taking the woman role” instead od the motherly role (personally i see them as different but to each their own yk? Just wanted to say my pov cause im nosy )
I like how their kids calls them both daddy, in other omegaverse stories, the kid calls the dad who gave brith mummy, and it makes sense but it rubs me the wrong way
