In one of the chapters Lucas says that in her first life athy was “unlucky” and showed a picture of a noose which is the same way that Athy died in the “novel” and the second time was giving up and showed pills then Lucas says I wonder how it will turn out this time most people might see this as saying I wonder how she will do in another life but he’s actually talking about her re-doing the first life .which is why when I read your comment I was thinking to myself “ wow I was thinking of the same thing” but I only put two and two together after re-reading this webtoon a million times (btw sorry if I sound dumb but that mostly due to me actually being dumb sorry)

1. This is already kinda confirmed in the manhwa, it's her third life. She was the real Athanasia.
2. You guessed right :) The past emperor (Aeternitas) is using Anastacius's body to get Lucas's attention haha
3. So about Claude's memory erasing magic, it takes 7 years to complete if i remember right. In her first life, Athy meets Claude when she is 9 so Claude has already forgotten Diana. In this timeline, she accidentally meets Claude when she is 6 years old so he's still remembering Diana :)

Although the manhwa is taking a different direction than the novel, these three things i mentioned should be the same
So, I never read the novel. I've been an avid reader of this webtoon since 2018. I never commented because I thought this story is a cute story where past life turned into new life better than the first and then Athy would be happy with Claude and all that at the end. But, no. It got much much more in it for me and everyone.
First things first, about Athy: According to Lucas, she's someone who traveled time and dimensions. I think this is her second (or probably more) time experiencing this life (that we're reading). Lucas mentioned something like "Now that she's back, what would happen?". And then, she thought once that maybe she's feeling emphatic about Athanasia as if she's the one who experienced all that. Also that time she's thinking hard about Ezekiel and ended up asking herself if that isn't the first time they met. Thus, I believed she already experienced this life but mistakes it as book she read in her past life.
Another thing about Athy: Lucas saw that her magic fluctuates when she thought about the possibility that she's met Ezekiel before. I think it's her magic stopping her from remembering the first time she's in this life. Afterall, all she thinks is that this is a book she read before.
Now to Uncle Anastacius: I think this fine hot man (IM SORRY IM SIMPING SO HARD EVEN THOUGH HES A VILLAIN)— okay, I think he's being possessed. The kid Lucas called trash in his back story, the strongest emperor or whatever, I think that's the person possessing him. In Claude's back story, we saw him as he approached young Anastacius who is fixated onto something that's "calling him". They're basically living together in Anastacius body so there are moments when he hesitates in regards to Jeannette. But in the recent chapters, the past emperor controls him freely now. Like the thing he did with Mr. White.
Then, to Lucas and Low Magic Past Emperor: Low Magic Past Emperor is scared of Lucas because Lucas might see "him". But, he also mentioned about records of Wizard of the Tower harming a nobility. What I think is: he's part of the reason (of maybe the sole reason) why Lucas slept for so long. Lucas mentioned that when he meet the Past Emperor when he was a kid, that was also the time he's becoming bored of things so he decided to sleep. But what if, just what if, Lucas really did harmed a nobel, namely the Past Emperor (maybe he's harmed him because he's using dark magic or something) and somehow (I doubt this but it can happen, really) lost, and resulted in his sleep? A dark magic may have casted upon Lucas (remember he also said that doing two or more dark spell on you would be bad or something?) so he's so weak when he woke up he had to live off Athy's leaked mana.
Then, Jeannette: apart from she's dumb, she's a ticking time bomb, really. Lucas saw the change in her (or her mana) already. The man from the library also said it before: nothing ever comes right from a dark magic but a curse. Her curse must something that collects energy from negative feelings or whatsoever. Idk what might happen once she explodes but I think it got to do something about Athy's ability.
And finally, about Claude: he's in a coma because of dark spells that been casted upon him one after the other. Idk the right timeline but here's what I think happened: First spell is he casted upon himself is the emotion remover spell or something. It happened on or before he killed his brother. But, Diana managed to came past the dark magic. It's probably her magic (Lucas mentioned everyone has a magic of their own, they just don't know it exists or how to use it). But then, Claude had to cast the memory remover spell after because of Diana (which was Athy find easy to deal with her cuteness). As Lucas said, the dark magic is already almost gone before he left, but Past Emperor used Jeanette and Athy to cast a reactivation spell on Claude, that's why his memories of Athy were lost and he also felt hatred toward Athy. Then, the last spell, the killing spell, was through Jeannette's bracelet. That's why he's that weak already.
Lastly, this is so hard to think about and type, but I think Claude will die. Not soon, but he probably will. The death flags are there, Lucas kept on repeating it, too. I think, if it weren't for Athy, he's long gone.
BUT!! I also think that is the reason why Athy tried to come back in this life. She knew her father died after she died the first time. And she loved her father so much that's why she came back so that he will live and everyone that did Claude and her bad would pay.
