I dont know why ppl are mad that Haesoo decided to take time by himself. Like thats literally what home boy needed?? He been through way too much, first with his and joowon’s fight and separation, and then taku and his manipulation and overbearing feelings, and ofc everything with his mom... like he’s been suffocating this whole series, it was GOOD that he wanted a break to improve himself.

It doesnt mean he doesnt love Joowon. But actually him deciding its better not to rush into a relationship with Joowon shows his maturity.
He knows he has a lot of baggage, a lot of emotional problems, some unhealthy coping mechanisms.... So yeah, him wanting to take time for himself is not running away from Joowon. He’s not trying to go be with other guys. He fully loves Joowon and ACCEPTS that he loves Joowon. Alsooo i have to add: the break was also for Haesoo’s studies. A key point in the story was how he always lacked selfsteem in his work and deeply envied joowon’s career. So yeah, he just wants to take a gap to work on himself, so like GOOD FOR HIM GOOD FOR HIM.

Now Joowon and him can start anew, and be in a healthy relationship <333 (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Ik if you are talking to me...then you've misunderstood my post...

Same! I have nothing against the 3 year timeskip bc it takes A LOT of time to really know yourself, discover your flaws and learn to embrace or fix or improve them. Not everyone can do it in like a month or a year. And I think he was also writing a book at the time? (I head canon he wrote the ordinary love story while he was thinking of J and their relationship while he was in Spain). I wish we got to see their conversation about it tho rather than the author merely showing a panel. But, as I’ve mentioned in my comment below, I’m hoping yeongha will show it through flashbacks in the future chapters (and also how Haesoo learned to love himself :’) )

I wasnt only talking to you but everyone who is saying this on twitter and such. I agree with some things you said about wanting more of Joowon’s perspective so that it doesnt seem like his whole life revolves around Haesoo. But I disagree that the time spent away is a contradiction to Haesoo’s character. I mean remember the break was also for Haesoo’s studies: a point in the story was how he always really lacked selfsteem in his work and deeply envied joowon’s career.

My main point is that it would make total sense BUT the accident was just a bad choice. Without an acciden, life threatening it would be much more logical imo.

hmmm i guess i dont have a problem with the accident, cause i felt like the moment haesoo admitted to taku at the exhibition about why he cried and basically saying he cant let joowon go... So with or without the accident i knew the chapter of them admitting their love was coming. imo the accident was just for dramatic purposes

I'm also just disappointed with lack of Joowon, what he did etc. I know Haesoo is MC but I I want to see Joowon living for himself for once.

Yes and imo it was a bad choice... Which was both cliché and make Haesoo's decision imo a little more questionable. Without accident it would be much clearer and understandable.

Like I said in Angie’s thread, we still don’t see how Joowon has developed as a complete person. What does he really have for himself to make him whole before He can fully enter a healthy renewed relationship. Everything he does or thinks revolves around Haesoo. His decision to act in the first place had to do with escaping reality for simple answers and happy endings. He was ready to throw it away, and then later renew his contract, all concerning Haesoo. Does he like acting, does it make him fulfilled? What else does he have to live for himself?
