um well my opinion on them is that they only work if both people put in the effort but even then can be very hard to manage however i have seen very happy couples come together after being distanced for so long :). i think one of the hardest is people around u not believing it’s “real” and also the doubts that come with being in one like not being able to be very involved with their personal lives and just not know if they’re being try to u but omg i dont have many specifics sorry :(
it's definitely possible, one of my friends has been in a long distance relationship for 4 years now and they're still strong. They see each other once a year or sometimes twice since he lives in her home country. However, they only work because they communicate all the time and it's a two way effort. They're really compatible, a proper match. tbh i don't believe in distance ever being a factor as two why two people who truly want each other break up. So if people use that as an excuse i just know even if there was no such thing as distance there would be some other reason since they're just not meant to be.
Can someone give me advice on long distance relationships?
