so from what I remember it's fang jinyao's child, I'm not sure about the detail but I think he was looking for someone to conceive his child and found a woman willing to do it but the person was from America, so he sent his sperm to America and there the woman gave birth to the child, I think Yi yi was on a trip in America and he adopted a rourou. I think fang jinyao was injured or got into an accident around that time, but he watched over them from far away. I hope I said that correctly, and if I made a mistake or left some detail please do tell me.

Yiyi didn't adopt he gave his sperm and had a surrogate carry his child but Fang jinyao was in America and injured like you said and took yiyis sperm and replaced it with his own because he didn't want anyone finding out rourou was his child. and it had to be yiyis because he was the only Japanese donor I was confused on why it had to be yiyi but its a romance so logic doesn't faze me to much.

It's true that Rourou is feng jiyayo's child (biological father) but its not like yiyi adopted him...
Yiyi and feng applied to have a baby at same time coincidentally...
While feng was injured and his family members try to take his financial properties from Him,so he need a successor secretly asap.and so feng switched his sperm with yiyi after checking his background without the permission of yiyi (actually it's a crime)
So yiyi doesn't know Rourou was not his own child until he saw the DNA result of feng and Rourou...

(About yiyi's actual biological baby; (Not exactly a baby...um..a baby just started developing...i don't know what its called..lol)feng freeze and protect that baby for a long time(4 years)...but recently it got missing at the time Rourou and yi was arrived...He go and checked about the issue by himself but he couldn't the baby...and he guessed that his it's one of his family member is behind this...cuz they misunderstand that it's feng's child because he is the one who protecting it...
