I don't know what planet you came from, that was not cute at all.
Granted this is a manga based on the premise that all the MCs are gay and the love interest is also gay but, his internal dialogue doesn't match the situation at all.
But that is just me....there was a lot missing in this chapter. Forget about the pace...they skimped on the meat and potatoes!!
