If you can't afford to pay $6 (less if purchased during one of SuBLime's frequent online sales) per digital volume (sold worldwide), which supports the mangaka who creates it and the translators/etc who bring it to you, what makes you think you have the right to read manga? If spending a few dollars per volume of manga is that much of a big deal, you have bigger problems to worry about than a scanlation group dropping TC. Manga is a luxury, not a right. I thought it'd never get licensed but I'm thrilled that I now have a chance to show my support for the series.

Of course people who can afford to support it should. But if someone can't afford it does that mean they don't deserve the chance of luxury? Sometimes, when people have other things to worry about, it is nice to get a break from that.

But well, don't forget this so called luxury is eating off the author's sole income. It's sad I know. I literally cried this morning. I loved this series that much. But hey, we have no right to complain.

I don't think it eats off the author's income because it promotes her work and actually leads to increased income when the work becomes more popular--but it is a luxury.

At this point, is it already popular enough? Yes. It only leads to increased income when people actually pay for it.

I would like to have a BMW. Do you think it's fair that I am denied that luxury because I can't afford it? Do you suggest I just walk into the BMW dealer and drive off with one without paying? Hard truth: this is life. This is how it works. You want something, you have to pay for it. Or you SHOULD, anyway.

what's wrong with you? tilio wasn't even complaining. why did you have to go and say things like that? If tilio was demanding that they not drop the scanlation, then i would've understood you telling him/her off. who the hell do you think you are?

It's not only that, you need to consider others currency value, taxes of importation, shipping and methods of payment. It's not as easy to say: "hey, US$6, let's buy it!". I wish it would be that easy.
Expand your mind, try to think about others condition not from your comfortable point of view.

I have to say, I come from a country in which I think it's hard to get a copy of this manga, I most likely have to buy it from a site like amazon and I do not have a creditcard. How do you suggest I buy it?

I assume @Anonymous are the same people so here goes.

    1. Then how much is fair? For a book, $6 is considered reasonable. You can't just wish things to be cheaper cause you don't have any money. I'm sorry for you, but the world does not work like that.

    2. Taxation is like, idk, 13% maybe? Out of $6? You only have to pay an extra 78 cents. And in my experience of buying online things, you don't have to pay extra tax. And FYI, this is a digital format, so no you don't have to waste your money on shipping. Besides, there ARE retailers that provide free shipping worldwide.

    3. You don't have to have a credit card. Debit card will suffice. You must have a bank account at some point on your life, so no reason to not able to have a debit card. If your reason is you're underage, then really, you should not read yaoi in the first place.

Well people who can pay, just go and buy it 2 support the author! But it's no need to stop scanlating/translating for people who can't. Sensei still get the same payment either way. And since it's only licenced in English, doesn't mean that other countries must stop it. Spanish,Russian,Chinese, whatever. Her work still online for FREE. But the author still got same payment. I can't buy even if I want too. Our post will be checked & disposed of all things forbidden in the country. Besides we -including you- already reading 10 count 4 free since the beginning. Can't they licence it after it's finished? If it's so popular people who are fans & can afford 5k volumes a day, month, year, will still buy them so the author still get payed.

    Hello yours truly,
I'm putting up my name now so you know I'm not like the other anonymous.
Also I would like to reply to your comment.

    1. the amount of money doesn't really bother me, if I can buy a book I do. I understand that the author needs to make a living.

    2. I don't know much about taxation, also I come from the Netherlands so I don't know how much euro I would have to pay for this.

    3. I'm not underage, and I'm guessing that a debit card, is something like a card which says maestro or world pass.

the story above is a rough translation. O and one more thing, I'm not much of a computer geek, basicly I know some things like visiting sites and some downloading and uploading but thats it so maybe a few hints on how to get the manga would be nice :D

True words of a privileged person lol excuse me if I want to vent, and I actually agree that it is a good thing that's it been licensed its just unfortunate that LEGITIMATE poor people who can barely afford internet service have to miss out because people are selfish. If I could afford to pay $6 for something it would probably be going to bills anyway, not every has left over money to do things they want to so don't come at like that bye

If we talk about Ten Count, maybe we could get it if we can afford a bank account, but there are other licensed manga that are out of our reach.
There is licensed manga which doesn't have digital edition, you can only buy the print edition.
There are countries that some stores don't consider (Bookdepository, Akadot, mine is not there).
And some stores shipping to my country cost 3 times the value of the book, so it isn't a good buy.
It's not that we are ignorant, lazy or close-fisted, it's just that we don't have the same opportunities and accessibility that other people have.
That said, if people can't access to manga and feel sorry about it (@Tilio), why do you get mad at them?
It's not always their fault, I've read about many people from different places that are stating why they can't and it's not that they don't want to or are too lazy to look for solutions, it's just that they can't.
