Nooo I don’t think the ending is bad

He went back in time because he didn’t want to put all the humans in danger, since humanity would’ve basically been destroyed. Theres a reason for the appearances of the dungeons (which i wont say) but he went back in time to end the war so dungeons weren’t necessary anymore. He was able to protect the people he loved, instead of them (ultimately) dying. Also, he has the ability to allow people to see what happened in the past, which is why some people end up knowing and some people are oblivious to what happened in the past. It’s been a while since I’ve read it but this is what I got when I read it ^^ I don’t think the ending was bad? I enjoyed it and the extra stories are fun to read xD

i was wondering how the ending would go, if jinwoo would have to go around the world clearing every single dungeon for it to be over (for the ones who watched charlotte i was thinking of that) but going back in time and everyone being oblivious to what ‘should have happened’/‘happened’ in the past makes sense, i like the fact that he has the ability to make others see what happened, i feel like it would have been a really lonely fate if he was the only human with remaining memories :,) anyways i’ll just enjoy my read and go with whatever the author decides to go with as long as it’s not everyone dying in some kind of apocalypse haha >.<

He made a deal which allowed Earth to not be swarmed with dungeons :))) Imo I prefer that kind of ending rather than humanity all dying
Also, I’ve seen some people confused with what happened in the dungeon, Jin Woo was supposed to die and the real Shadow Monarch was supposed to take over his body but instead he just kinda merged and gave Jin Woo his powers so now Jin Woo is the ‘new’ Shadow Monarch. The LN explains things better
