Idk honestly but I'm trying to connect the points, i think the uncle is the one who broke into Lucas's tower, remember Lucas was searching about who stole and mess up his things in the tower, but he got busy with the father's health, and there's something else also, remember Lucas once remembered that someone ( i think the person was a king) asked him to teach his son magic but he refused and said he's too weak that he doesn't deserve to teach him, idk but maybe the kid is the uncle.
there was a previous moment with lucas where he mentioned that the uncle was evil or smt
