i have to say that it’s not a story that takes place way back in time and there are no deadly illnesses, but the character(s) are mentally ill. they are minors though and some innocent people are killed. it doesn’t meet all of your preferences but i hope you like it if you decide to read it!

Any manga/manhwa/manhua (any genre) with tragedy as the main focus. Not the typical "man has terminal illness so he dies" but more like "man has terminal illness, so he goes on a killing rampage and kills himself at the end.
Preferably....
- MC is a maniac or a peasant
- The story takes place way back in the time
-MC is a child
-Everyones favorite characters get brutally murdered by the bad characters
-Deadly Illnesses
-Innocent people suffer
-Injustice
-Suffering
-Crisis
-Characters go psycho cauz they can't handle it anymore
-Disasters
-Anger
-Monarchies
etc.
Just something that leaves you feeling empty when you finish reading it. ^_^
