but u know, i actually come to enjoy it as at some point it is realistic. the part where they make mistakes, regrettable decision, and all that. it shows that our life is full of mistakes especially when we were young but that mistakes eventually lead us to where we belongs as we move on.
girl its not that deep its just the author writing a bad ml (im not trying to be rude btw and sorry for replying to a comment from January, ik im a freak ok) anyways, kou took advantage of futaba and don't deny it bc its true. he thought that no matter what he did to her, or how much he pushed her away, she would always come running back like a puppy, so as soon as he sees her "moving on", he wants her bc to me, he's selfish. and here's why: he could have been with her wayyyy back, I mean he knew she loved him (anyone could see it) ikik but his TRAUMA tho right?? didnt stop him from leading futaba on, nah he'll just kiss her passionately when he feels like it LMAO (yea lets do that instead, wtf?), puts that girl who shall not be name before futaba but no, the one he loves is futaba right, what bull shit LOL. tbh I feel like if 2nd ml didnt step in and make kou jealous, futaba and kou might still be going on back and forth considering kou's annoying ass personality. he's so stupid, if another man dating your girl is what it takes for you to finally man up and try to win her back then you're better off leaving her alone with her new love life. its not fair to futaba or the 2nd ml; it looked like she almost fell for him, if kou had been any slower, I feel like futaba and 2nd ml could have really still be together rn. first love or not, ik better to be with someone who treats me like a queen instead of his second choice or hesitate to be with me :/

yes! I love you, im so glad you understand! I loved futaba, the 2nd ML and all the side characters, I loved them so much and I relate to futaba a lot, I would do anything for my first love, even if it hurts me. personally I think she's such a great character other than her letting kou do whatever he wants with her, even all the side characters were written very well, except yes she who shall not be named lol and ofc kou. he's one of the most mid ML ever maybe even below mid maybe. im ngl the first season of ao Haru ride (the anime) was great so I decided to read the manga and I wished I never did, bc it ruined kou for me so much. till this day Idk why ppl go and say I wish I had a romance like them, yes I would love to be in a push and pull toxic relationship and always be the second choice, sooo romantic! they hyped this so much, and yes the plot is written better than most shoujo but the ML sucks soooo
He acts indifferent towards her and plays hard to get but as soon as she attempts to move on he comes running back. Didn’t deserve her at all. Both annoying as hell, just because he was her childhood friend and first crush doesn’t mean he’s the ONLY potential love interest. Honestly.
