Ok so, the first time Nakbin showed up Habeak believed it was her, but later on he realized that she wasn't the real Nakbin, a little bit afterwords, the real Nakbin shows up and kills the fake Nakbin. Habeak realizes that the real Nakbin showed up and went to her, leaving Soah behind but the truth is, before all this happened everybody thought Habeak lost his memory but he didn't. So while Nakbin and Habeak were together. The guy with wings took Soah to the Moon Palace, and they met Habeak's dad. Habeak's dad let Soah see what was Nakbin's and Habeak's past together was like, and then he let her saw what was going on with Nakbin and Habeak at that moment. Nakbin was using a curse to keep her alive(Nakbin was killed by Habeak a long time ago), Habeak told Nakbin that he loved Soah now. So Nakbin took off the curse and died. Habeak and Sah got together again. Then Habeak turned into human so he could go to the human world with Soah. Habeak's moter got angry that he became human so she sent her pet tiger to kill Soah. Habeak saved Soah just in time. Then Habeak became a god again. Skip to the right now. Soah left Habeak because she was afraid of growing old while Habeak was young because he is a god. So time passed and Soah had Habeak's child but nobody knows except Soah and Hooye.

So yea. Not very sure if u could understand what i typed but i wish u luck in understanding this story.

Dong Wang Kong= Habeak's father
Shin Nong= brother of the Emperor


Honestly I don't really know what started the war. But I think the Emperor wants to destroy humans or something like that and his brother Shin Nong loves humans. So I think Shin Nong is trying to protect humans by fighting against the Emperor.

The Emperor wants to get Habeak to go on his side so he can defeat Shin Nong.

The Emperor actually loved Yanghee but she fell in love with Dong Wang Kong.

Ok things are gonna get confusing from this point.

Shin Nong actually killed Dong Wang Kong. But he regreted killing Dong Wang Kong so he killed himself. Dong Wang Kong then switched bodies with Shin Nong. So Dong Wang Kong is actually still alive but is in Shin Nong's body. Shin Nong is dead and is in Dong Wang Kong's body.

Yanghee found out that Shin Nong killed Dong Wang Kong but doesn't know that Dong Wang Kong switched bodies with Shin Nong.

So Yanghee is on Emperor's side, Yanghee went to the Emperor's side because she wanted to get revenge on Shin Nong for killing Dong Wang Kong, and Shin Nong(which is actually Dong Wang Kong) is going against the Emperor.

thank you very much. I thought shin nong was the one in love with Yanghee. and because he loved her he promised not to hurt dong wang kong or habeak. I also thought that the emperor was in love with hooyee's mother and that was the reason why the emperor was so obsessed with hooyee.

Lol, I understand. The Emperor is actually the father of Hooye. Shin Nong promised not to hurt Dong Wang Kong or Habeak because he has the power of fire and they have the power of water, if they fought one of them would have to die.

Thank you for your explanations. they were all very helpful and clarified the story a lot for me. I am sure reading Bride of the water goddess will only become more enjoyable, If I didn't have to wait for updates.
