I think her mom is only 31 or 32 and got a baby face, my mom had me when she was only 19 and when i age 22, she looks like my older sister that only got a gap of 4 or 5. So, she(the mc) might be in that case since everyone says that she's a beauty. By the way, I'm 30 and I got 30 to 25 years old suitors (not to brag) and they all are saying that I look like I'm only 22 or 23.
I think the writer is emphasizing in that way.

I agree. Plus, maybe the author wants to emphasize that the female lead (or the mom) is a such a beauty.
i hope the author/illustrator would show their ages on their faces more :/ it's giving me war flashbacks. maybe age the older characters more? his mom and him look the same age.
