Han is definitely manipulating Param with perhaps the most cliche backstory ever. I wouldn't be surprised if we come to find out that it was just a lie to get into Param's pants. He could be sincere, but it just seems too convenient a story.
Dude is not a kid to manipulated with sex and sad back story. If you say it's manipulation, then what's stopping the same from happening again. Can't even trust him anymore
Param is very much a "kid" and very naïve in these type situations. Han knows and realises this and used this to his advantage.
