that is all very true, but in fantasy worlds, bc of the intelligence and stuff, its more like an asian and a european dating, rather than an ant and a.... cat? they are different species but they arent that far apart.
In the fantasy world settings, I can somehow understand that enlightened animals/holy beasts/demons can "turn" into human. Yes, humans are closest to heavenly dao, it'd make sense. Alas, which horny-ass came up with an idea of them harboring some "special" feelings towards a different species? Never did in my life I saw a dog mate with a cat, let alone a human and an eagle. Like, how? By "turning" into human, it just means outer shell, their essence doesn't change. Lemme respell it, THAT EAGLE IS STILL AN EAGLE DUMBASS. Not to mention a simple change in skin color alone may kill any sexual drive one has but still falls for an eagle, let's just say the founder was an extreme-horny-ass; why the fu*k would an eagle like you? I also have my doubts about elf x human, mermaid x human etc., but I'll just pass.
