Exactly, it seemed like he wanted to keep Haesoo around to fuel his ego. I mean he knew how much baggage he had with Joowon yet he still wanted to start a “relationship” with him. Based on his previous relationships, he never took them seriously and he was so wishy-washy with Haesoo too. He only realized his feelings after that whole ordeal. They both used each other so Taku isn’t a victim at all nor should he blame Haesoo for going back to Joowon when they set up rules in the first place for their “one month trial relationship”

Well if we talking about bad people it's all of them not only taku he changed as joowon he was bad but he had a character development and I liked it and I really saw how taku changed as well but haesoo never changed he was teh same pathetic person as always relying on others just following what others tell him like how taku told him even he don't like him he should stay with him and joowon how he hadn't the courage to ask haesoo to date him properly not just having sex
Well, there’s a very important factor as to why Jowoon and Haesoo haven pt been in an actual “normal” relationship.... did you forget they’re stepbrothers? And that their parents are married? It’s not that Jowoon didn’t “have the courage to ask Haesoo out on a date”, but the fact that their feelings for each other are taboo and no matter how hard they try to get past it, they can’t
They got divorced long time ago and that's why he could ask him but he was just afraid of haesoo reaction he thought he just wanna say with him for the sex but then realized his mistake I really like both semes and hate the uke
The family situation heavily impacted their relationship. Even years after divorce Haesoo's mum was guilt tripping both of them. She said to Joowon that he should stop the thing with Haesoo. And to Haesoo that he can be with anyone but Joowon.
Yes there was also an aspect of them being afraid of the other party rejecting but it was all mixed with their family situation.
Haesoo had character development. He reflected on his actions, mistakes, his and Joowon's relationship. He was the one who said stop to their unchangeable, unhealthy ways at some point. And finally he chose himself and his feelings instead of society's and his mother's views.

Most of his relationship with Haesoo was a lie; started with malicious intent, just for personal entertainment, and he admitted it himself. So he has feelings now? Dude freaking does not “deserve better”, he was SO selfish the entire time.
He started having “real feelings” towards Haesoo only when he realized Haesoo was still in love with Jowoon..... he just wanted Haesoo around like a toy, to see how he’d react and how this would all “play out”
