Ppl dont seem to get that Trashta is a major White Lotus (someone who comes off a inocent but is anything but).
Lets look at her history.

1. She is a ex slave who slept with the young master of the house and got pregnant with his child. (Ok this can be exused with maybes "maybe he forced him self on her, baybe they were in love or baybe she seduced him".)
2. She gained her freedome by sacrificing her child. (again she was given two choices but only because she tried to flee, choice one keep the child and stay a slave, choice two relinguish the childe to the master and be free. She didnt hesitate to chose freedome).
3. She was "saved" by the emporer, from ppl chasing her because she was a slave? (this screams manipulation.. she wasnt a runaway slave she was free and the guys were helping her look like a damsel in distress, how come she ran to the rich powerful looking dude with armed guards for rescue? this was all a con).
4. After being rescued she manages to get in the Emperors bed within 2week! And this while claiming to have been a virgin and the Emperor getting her first time. ( If she was a virgin why did she surender her virginity to a stranger she just met. Its a fact she had a year prior given birth to a son so obiously not a vergin aka facked it. her not being a vergin and saying the Emperor took her virginty and he belives her means there were signs that she was a vergin aka blood on the bed so she staged it).
5. She spared no time prowing to everyone she was favored by the Emperor (she showed of in front of eveyone be it staff, servants or nobels.)
6. She is uneducated (this i a farce, it isnt that she was neevr taught. Its that she chose not to learn because learning would ruin her dumb inocent immage and she might screw up. This is proven when she first enter and are given tutors but skips etiquet because "she dont need it" aka whats atracting the men is the inocent child act of her being inocent and dumb so if she learns then the dumb part and defence is out the windoow.)
7. She cries at every chance she gets to gain pity. ( the face tears and crying about everything makes her atractive to men, because she is like a small helples wounded animal so their instinct to protect takes over.)
8. I want what shes got, why is that unfair? (She wants everything the Empress has but thinks its unfair she cant get it even when she is asked to do the work to earn it. She thinks being favored = everything is hers so it gives her the right to created trouble for others).

Reasons the Emperor is an idiot.
1. He sees a "slave" girl fleeing from men and resgues her and takes her with him..
2. Wthin 2 weeks he sleeps with said Slave, and belives she was a vergin..
3. He brings home a mistress and wants the wife to treat her well.
4. Get mad a wife for putting the mistress in her place.
5. Sides with Trashta even when he knows she was in the wrong.
6. Belives Trashta over his Wife.
7. Even when shown that Trashta is paying someone off he choses to hide the evidence.
8. When shown profe that Trashta broke the law he hides it.
9. Every wrong Trashta does it ok'ed because she is pregnant.
10. He banishis his wifes brother becaue the brotehr tortured the truth out of Trashta ex master and found she wasnt a vergin and had a child and staged the meeting.
11. Knowing Trashta wasnt a vergin like she laimed (red fag), that she has a son (red flag), that she sleeped with her masters sone (red flag) and that she staged her distress when they meet (red flag), he desides to find clause to divorce FL and make Trashta Empress... and all because "well nomater waht that child is my child".
12. He thinks teh child Trashta is carrying is his because she was a virgin, and continuse to belive its his even after learning whats at 11.
