    right? if anything, i thought his parents would have asked where their son was / hurt mc's feelings and make it feel as though they care more for their blood related son.

    I'm actually glad they didn't. Their child was theirs whom they poured their blood, sweat and tears into to raise. He was literally everything they could have wanted thus far so I found it extremly pleasing that they didnt throw away the last 17 years of raising him over so relatively unknown person.ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

    A stranger comes and tells you your mom or dad isn't actually your blood relative. What would you do? In my case, Yes, im intrigued to know who my blood parents are but that doesn't make my parents any less REAL. Rearing a child is a heavy as* load. Certainty is not easily replaced for uncertainty. That kid is all they've ever known.
