The way he was talking with Asami and Asami with him...I suspect that they are old friends and a new character in the manga and an ally to Asami....it would be better than the cliches of a cheeky funny guy turning out to be the villain

As from what they are talking: They worked together once when they were mercenaries. Nothing more is said there. Asami even had to think what the other one's name was and the other was suprised Asami remembered.

Good catch! I am sold to your theory. What are the chances YA just made those two ties look exactly the same without even noticing? Just no way! I just hope he is not doing that because he also fell for Asami and he did not reciprocate his feelings xD We don't need a second Sudou.
