Remember the fight ml had with 2nd ml and he said something about wanting MC to always reach for his hand (basically he wanted her to only rely on him even more n more so eventually how much she values him becomes higher) it’s like a flashback of the hand. Both of them are people who always wanted someone by their side and even though ml believed they were alike (which isn’t true) they stayed together because that was all they needed. Also during that moment 2nd ml was there symbolizing “it’s a small world” that all three of them were there though they had zero interaction but eventually meet in the future.
