I didn't read the novel but I'm with you in this. Like.. it's pretty much obvious how much affection her brother have for her. Everything is pretty clear if you just understand the role and side of every character and not only the protagonist. I also don't want her to be the emperor. That title is better off to her brother, and she will have her freedom to do anything she genuinely wants. Maybe being lady of the Kunh is a better role for her.. hehehe

Anyways, the end game I want is brother as an Emperor and Sienna as Khun's why so she will become the Lady of Khuns clan.

I agree with most of what you said, I like most of the characters, but the argument about the emperor isn't really valid in my opinion, he was complacent in the wrong raising of the FL.
Well, I do agree that my argument about the emperor is really weak and not at all valid but I do think that his intention with Sienna is not bad at all.
DUDE I FREAKIBG READ EVERYTHING YOU SAID AND I ALSO AGREE! I am kinda sad how there are a number of ppl who are disliking the characters; the story has not even gotten to the actual drama yet and they're already assuming that the Iron King is a bad person. He just wanted to live and survive. If you were in that position, wouldn't you want to survive as well? I am actually rooting for Sienna and her brother to get along coz I know that once they do, their relationship will be good, even if they're competing for the throne.
As for the Red King, she's a scheming witch and I don't like her. I'm just happy that Sienna is now starting to realize her mother's real nasty side.

Okay so I have been reading the comments and I see that there are some people who hate on the half-brother, Khun, and the father. Well, I can sort of understand where ya'll coming from but at the same time, I don't. I kind of wonder if we're reading the same thing or maybe just because I also read the novel ver.
that's why I have more understanding of the characters. You can come at me after reading this through.
First of, the half-brother. I get that you hate him because he's stealing everything Sienna has worked on all her life and still he feels sorry for it and that he should have helped her from the beginning. He should have told her that her mother is someone who hurt him and the people he loved and he should have taught her things and they could have just worked
together.
BUT
ya'll are forgetting that from the beginning the red king had them separated. The red king told the princess not to talk to the half-brother just because the red king was afraid that the half-brother would steal the crown. Kept an eye on both the princess and the prince so that they wouldn't be able to talk when they were young.
And then they sent the half-brother away from the palace and told him to like "explore" the world and almost died if not for Khun saving him. So when will they have the time to talk? PLUS SIENNA actually doesn't have enough manpower and well, control to overthrow her mother.

and because she doesn't have enough information and people to help her, she will seek help from the iron king WHICH then will improve their relationship. IG after that they'll prolly work together while still competing for the throne.
You were on all about how poor Sienna is because she worked on becoming an emperor all her life and how the half-brother is taking it away from her.
BUT
Have you all thought about how it is for the half-brother too? Growing up as a normal kid and then told that he's a prince. Going to the palace for the sake of just living. REMEMBER HE DID NOT WANT TO FIGHT FOR THE THRONE BUT HE WAS FORCED TO AFTER EXPLORING WHAT'S BEYOND THE PALACE AND KNOWING THE TRUTH. (You can read this in the first few chapters or at the novel idk)
He realized that for him and his loved ones to survive he has to become the emperor
(but why didn't he just tell Sienna and they could have worked together)
Because they were being watched and separated by the red king. He only got to have freedom after meeting up with Kuhn and making a deal with him.
anyways. His and his loved ones' lives are being threatened by the red king's faction plus after exploring and knowing the truth he viewed that if Sienna will remain oblivious to the world outside the palace and if she remains controlled by the red king then the empire is done for. Remember that in the future that Sienna dreamt she only knew of the iron king's story until it was too late that's why she was sorry and everything. That means that in that timeline Sienna remained oblivious and she hated the iron king.
Second, the iron king DOES NOT, IN ANY WAY HATE Sienna. In fact, he wants to get close to her BUT he thought she hated her. BECAUSE REMEMBER Sienna couldn't be bothered and never tried to talk to him, and because she was also told not to talk with her. The iron king only hates Sienna's mother not her. That's why in the novel or maybe in the first few chapters he thought/said that it's much better if Sienna hated him so then he would not have any guilty conscience. He does not want to compete with Sienna but he HAS to. FOR SURVIVAL.
Another thing, Kuhn and he made a plan that would not involve killing Sienna. Isn't that proof that he doesn't hate Sienna and that he does not put the red king's sins on Sienna?
And some might bring this up, the iron king knows and understands how people outside of the capital might feel because he lived and explored there. A reason why he also wants to be an emperor because he knows Sienna might not understand it because she was cooped up in the palace and it is actually proven.
Remember when Sienna went for a secret outing? She did not know anything, she was oblivious. And she wouldn't be able to know her shortcomings if not for Kuhn. Yes, she might think of it but not that fast. If not for Kuhn's advice for her during the first few chapters she wouldn't think of that until very late.
DON'T get me wrong, Sienna is a fast learner, she knows her short-comings and she wants to learn more on how to overcome those but let's admit it, without the dreams and Kuhns push she wouldn't be so eager to know about the truth and she wouldn't be so eager to learn more.
I feel bad for both siblings. I understand and respect what the two of them feel. I just want to see things through
NEXT KHUN. I kind of understand where ya'll coming from
BUT
Kuhn has a deal with the Iron King FIRST before he met Sienna.
I have a question that I would like to be answered.
Should he throw away all the preparation just for Sienna?
Should he ignore the iron king's need of survival for Sienna?
I would sincerely be grateful if this is answered.
Lastly the father.
First of, HE IS THE EMPEROR WHO RULES THE EMPIRE. How big is the empire?
Second, the one who approaches the king is the iron king. Not the other way. The reason for this may be for strategic or for something else. I'm guessin a strategic move.
Third, the EMPEROR actually approached Sienna first. The tea remember? I don't know if you could consider that an approach but atleast the emperor sent a gift for Sienna, which by the way Sienna thought as something weird or something.
Fourth, since Sienna was a child she was taught that her father is not only a father BUT also an EMPEROR OF AN EMPIRE. He should be respected at all times.
Sixth, HE DID NOT TRAIN SIENNA TO BECOME A ROBOT TO INHERIT THE THRONE, it was SIENNA'S MOTHER AND HER MOTHER'S FAMILY.
Lastly, I read this in one of the comment and we share the same idea, the EMPEROR might be that "cold-on-the-outside-but-actually-a-sweet-guy-in-the-inside-and-actually-cares-for-his-kids" type of person. I think he can't show his warm side
because people might think that he is biased, and if he shows his warm side to Sienna, the red king might take advantage of this and will control Sienna more.
P.S. I actually don't want Sienna to become an Emperor, I just want her to be free. You know what I mean? Her potential is much more than being an emperor. She can be so much more. But I guess it will end up with her being an emperor.
