Based on the latest raws Gesuit is actually nice he is the teacher of Hendrick ( former king's brother) Hendrick is the first heir on the throne and died because of poison. It wasnt exactly said that Izana's father killed Hendrick but if you read it its obviously him. That's why I came to a conclusion that Gesuit takes revenge but instead of taking revenge on the former king he curse Izana instead. But what Gesuit did is wrong he shouldnt take his anger on Izana. But I think he put the curse on Izana so that Izana can read his father's thoughts. Thats why he was locked up in the tower by his father cause he's scared that Izana will read his mind. As for the crimson necklace maybe it wasnt to protect Lerajie. When Izana wore the necklace he heard Gesuit's voice. Maybe Gesuit recorded his voice in the necklace to give Izana a hint he said on chapter 52 " what the hell did my father did" after reading a diary. The diary was found inside Hendricks portrait on Atlanta's mansion ( sorry for my bad english it's just my second language(￣∇￣") )
