Hmm, some of my hippie and metal head acquaintances are gay ... and their hair is pretty long, except for those who go for the buzz-cut look like skinheads. I don't think there is a simple "one look fits all" for gay dudes. (Also, there are lots of natives who wear their hair long as part of their warrior status, and I would never dream of calling them girly.) Yes, you always run into metrosexual types who want to look like they stepped off the catwalk, but I think gays look like the kinds of guys they are attracted to, and that runs the gamut.
Don't have many gay friends do you? The fact that so many people on here are stereotyping a group of people is ridiculous. It doesn't matter if a man is gay or not when it comes to his hair. Just like a woman with really short hair doesn't have to be a lesbian. I've known plenty of gay and straight guys that are well groomed with long hair and I've known plenty with short hair. Not all gay men wear designer clothes, perfect hair, and tweezed eyebrows. Some straight men do all of those things and even get manicures to make their nails look nice for business. Every person on this planet is different and everyone has their own personal taste when it comes to clothes, hair, scent, products, makeup, music, movies, tv shows, books, clubs/bars, cars, ect. You cannot fit a group of people into one neat little category. Also Senpai is so damn gay for Morinaga it's not even funny. Senpai is most likely pansexual.
Don't get me wrong, I love Souchi's long hair, but I have always wondered why someone who is allegedly so homophobic would keep such a girly hairstyle.
It seems to me like he'd get it cut so that he looked more atypically masculine.
Not that I want him to; I've just found that odd ever since I first began reading this story.
