Oh no I'm pretty sure he already mentioned that I think in the first chapter or something like that I'm not sure but he already mentioned that.
Yah, as I remember it, he mentioned that the girls' faces were simple and blurry, Yah?...but this story is from his point of view? So...isn't it him, then, that can't notice these girls' faces? Thus, he's the one who's missing that red flag. (In Creative Writing, we'd call his first person POV an "unreliable narrative"). Just a thought~
I love how we literally never see any of the girls faces
