I’m pretty sure people are just mad she didn’t pay him. Even if it wasn’t up to standard, she could have paid him and still given him criticism.
she literally gave him the reality check someone in the last timeline probably gave him too. he’s not painting up to his potential yet, which means she can’t use him yet. so her being ‘mean’ is a little understandable but he should take it as constructive criticism idk. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
